A fragrant belladonna lily, also known as a ‘naked lady,” was found in full bloom in Vincennes. Belladonna means “beautiful lady.” The flowers are noted for their tall stalks and the beautiful blooms that appear in late summer. The plant, which produces leaves in early spring, is then dormant until it blooms. |
